This piece is simple and looks like it took a bit of time. This is clearly a landscape. The colors used are both vibrant and dark, this symbolizes as if the sun is setting. I love how Shape and form are both used well with the sun. Texture is used well in both the mountains and the water. I love how the tree is tilted to represent as if it is windy outside.

Bramblitt is a blind artist. All his paints were brailed. This piece was created in 2001 , but was unnamed. He used great texture to create the trees and abstract colors to draw attention. Up close the painting just looks like a bunch of lines, but when you zoom out you can see the complete picture of the couple walking down a path surrounded by trees.

This sculpture is amazing. It really speaks to the viewer and has a great title. The sculpture literally has a n open mind. There is a great use of texture to make it look like water is actually splattering. The artist definitely put a lot of thought an effort into this piece of art work.

This piece is made to represent coral in the ocean. Great texture and shape of uniform holes are used to create the wood to look like coral. The artist took great concentration to not break the wood due to the fact that it could easily snap. This piece was first drawn out and planned on paper and then constructed. Wood dyes were used on the edges to give the orange and yellow color to the piece. Boards were glued together to get the appropriate dimensions.

Title: Mother Nature

This drawing has great detail and is made with entirely pencil. The artist loved nature and wanted to find a way to symbolize it. The name for the drawing is the perfect fit. The women is drawn with much texture to symbolize being completely made out of twigs and leaves.

This drawing is drawn to represent being made entirely out of wood. Texture and shading are used in the hair and in the lines of the wood. The artist suggest that this piece has a deeper meaning because you can tell a lot about a tree just from the lines on the wood.
